Katy Schutte

Katy Schutte has worked in the VerbatimPlayback™ team on the development of the customer brief. Workshopping and defining with client heads of HR their requirement and direction of brief and working with the team to create the VerbatimPlayback™ experience based on this development. Katy has also acted as a team leader in bringing the roll out of the product to market, training and working with a large group of VerbatimPlayback™ actors.

Katy is a highly accomplished and experienced improvisation actress. She is also one of the UK’s top improvisational comedians. She performs and teaches improv comedy, specialising in long form. She is a Funny Women finalist and winner of the Brighton Festival Fringe Best Comedy Show award. She has been one of the Maydays for 7 years, she performes with Fluxx and Rideout, improvises musicals with Music Box and is half of the 5-star two woman long form show Katy and Rach. Katy studied improv at Second City and iO Chicago and has had the pleasure of learning from some of the world’s finest improvisers. Among others, she now coaches 8bit. Katy spent several years performing and writing with BAFTA nominated sketch satire company the Treason Show. This year she did her first season writing and acting with Fringe First winner and Perrier nominee NewsRevue at the Canal Cafe Theatre. Katy is currently storylining and directing a series of improvised film shorts with Back to the Feature as well as starring in a series of Katy and Rach webisodes for Jibba Jabba.
